Bonnie is a gentle Appaloosa, born around 2001, who joined the MCRC equine family in early 2024 thanks to a generous donation. She spent her earlier years as a lesson pony at the Midland Polo Club, and when age and physical limitations slowed her down, her owners thought she could continue to bring joy through our therapy program—and we’re so grateful they did!

Though blind in one eye, Bonnie has proven herself to be loving, trusting, and safe with all our participants. Her caring nature and steady temperament make her a treasured member of our equine therapy team.
