Smokey is a striking silver grulla Quarter Horse, born in 2011. He became part of the MCRC therapy family in 2017, when a loving family generously donated him at the age of six.

With his gentle spirit and affectionate nature, Smokey adores being around people and eagerly seeks out attention at every opportunity. Known for giving “horse kisses” to the kids who ride him, he has quickly become a favorite—again and again—among our riders, volunteers, and staff.
