Whitney is a native Midlander who has a passion for our generous and growing community. She began her work in the nonprofit world after graduating from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2008 and immediately went to work for the United Way of Midland until 2014. During her time there she explored the world of local nonprofits and quickly became enamored with MCRC due to its unique and incredible work in the community. She has a desire and passion for continuing to explore the needs of Midland, specifically the needs of children who benefit from the multitude of services MCRC offers.
Whitney and her husband Justin have two children, Abby (14) and Jett (11). In their free time they love to spend time outdoors as a family, travel, and maintain the chaos of hosting 2 Labrador retrievers and 1 pug. During Whitney’s time away from the professional world she engaged in many volunteer positions in our community. Whitney and Justin value community service and look forward to the opportunities to foster their children’s passion for volunteerism and giving back. Whitney is grateful for the opportunity to serve at MCRC and excited to see the growth in the coming years.
