“I always knew I wanted to work with children and have always had a love for horses. When researching OT positions in Midland, I fell in love with the MCRC family and community. I am so excited to be a part of this community!”

Katelyn grew up in Austin, TX and attended Texas Tech University, where she received a BS in Animal Science with a focus on Equine Science. Katelyn was able to be a part of the Therapeutic Riding Program at Tech and received her PATH Certification, which allows her to work as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor. After graduating from Tech, Katelyn moved to Dallas to continue her education and received a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.

After traveling all across Texas for her education, Katelyn made her way to Midland and we are so lucky to have her here! Her husband, Brian, moved to Midland after college and, after a long distance relationship, Katelyn moved out here as well. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walks with her husband, horseback riding, visiting coffee shops, and spending time with her palomino horse (named Lorelei).
